He attended basic and secondary education in the form of free exams at the Minister Abdón Cifuentes Multivalent High School in La Cisterna, graduating in 2003. He subsequently worked in commerce. Since March 9, 2011 , he has served as a member of the editorial committee of Change 21. In July 2013 he publicly assumed his homosexuality.
