- The series contains records pertaining to the establishment, administration and governance of the Woman’s Common of Metropolitan Toronto. Records found in this series reflect the establishment of the Woman’s Common, through its early meeting and property acquisition committee minutes, original planning documents, a bank loan proposal and agreement, and correspondence regarding the purchase of 580 Parliament Street. The series is also composed of material from the Woman’s Common Board of Directors and its committees, and includes meeting minutes, memos, reports and recommendations. It contains financial records, including budget statements, audited financial reports, financial projections, income statements and an auditor’s report.
