Scope and Content

Series consists of records regarding Bill Lewis’ academic career. This includes grant applications, conference materials, student and assistant applications, department files, paper drafts, and research notes (including research on HIV/AIDS, STDs, and other research around the gay community). Within the Academic Correspondence sub-series there is correspondence regarding university applications, scholarships, grant reviews, applications and evaluations of other researchers, and the employment of assistants and other researchers. Within the Research Correspondence sub-series there is correspondence regarding Bill Lewis’ research and that of other researchers and laboratories.
